Aquatics Access Policies
To ensure fair and safe access for all our members, we have the following policies and procedures in place.
1. Facility and Changeroom Access
Members with reservations for aquatics programs will be greeted at the entrance by a screener 10 minutes before their program start time and permitted access to the facility after successfully completing the screening process. After their program ends, members will have 10 minutes to change and safely exit the facility. Access to the facility earlier than 10 minutes prior to your program or longer than 10 minutes after your program will not be permitted while facility capacities are in place.
2. Late Arrivals Policy: 5 minute Grace Period
Members with reservations are granted a 5 minute grace period from the start of their reservation to arrive for their swim. Make sure to arrive on time to ensure your reserved space is available to you! Reservations are considered forfeited at the end of the grace period, and the space will be offered to other members at this time. Late arrivals may not be able to swim in their reserved space, or may not be able to enter the pool.
3. Reservation Limits
Members can book up to a maximum of:
- 1 water program per day (i.e. Aquafit OR Lane Swim OR Adult Recreation Swim)
- 4 leisure or fitness swims each week (Leisure and Fitness swims include: Lane Swim, Adult Recreation Swim, Open Swim, Preschool Swim)
- 2 Aquafit classes each week (Regardless of Depth)
The limits above apply to reservations made in advance. Members can attend additional programs beyond these limits if there is space available by making a last-minute reservation - within 2 hours of the program start time.
4. Walk-In Reservation Policy
Reservations are required for access to the pool area. You can stop by the Self-Serve station in the lobby or visit Member Services to make a last-minute reservation to swim if there is an open space.
A ‘Walk-Ins’ line may be available for you to wait in if a program is full, depending on the public health restrictions in place at the time, and if/when a space becomes available it will be offered to the next person in this walk-ins line.
5. Reservation Opening Times
Programs open for reservations 7 days in advance at 8:00am through our Member Portal.
