What's Included

Visit the YMCA-YWCA of Guelph Y for a free tour and a day pass at any time. The Guelph Y has a variety of membership options to suit the needs of each individual and family. Review the options below to determine the best option for you and your family.

Membership Rates

• Fees effective April 1st, 2019. Fees are subject to change without notice.
• *Certain ages/programs require adult accompaniment. In the case of the Pool, please review Pool Admission Standards.

• ***Certain conditions apply depending on the YMCA, YMCA-YWCA location.
• ****Fees are subject to H.S.T. and subject to change without notice. If a membership deactivated, a reaction fee will apply upon rejoining.

• Financial assistance and family discounts are available
• Youth Members ages 13-14 must complete a Teen Tour before using the Health & Fitness Centre
• Special needs and family change rooms are available for use

Family Memberships

Families who join together are eligible for a discount on their monthly membership fees.

Who is Eligible?

• Husband and Wife (or significant other) and their dependent children
• Immediate family only

How it works

• The highest paying adult pays full fees and each additional family member receives a 25% discount
• Once a child is over the age of 18, they are considered an adult, discount is applicable if the child is in school full time and under the age of 25
• Each adult family member pays a joining fee. There are no discounts on joining fees.
• Grandchildren may receive 25% discount on membership (some restrictions apply).

Hold Policy

You may wish to put a hold on your membership when you know you will not be using it for a period of time. Here is how it works:

• Two weeks written notice is required to hold a membership.
• Persons must be a member for a minimum of six months before they are eligible to put a hold on their membership.
• Memberships can be held for a maximum length of four consecutive months.
• A minimum hold must be one full month, once per membership year.
• Membership cards must be returned to Member Services where they will be held for the designated hold period.
• Membership payments will automatically resume after the hold period ends.
• If a member decides to return earlier than their original hold period, the payments will be adjusted.
• Members are responsible for notifying the YMCA-YWCA of Guelph in writing two weeks prior to the end of their hold period if they decide to cancel their membership. A $25.00 cancellation fee will apply.
