This camp is the perfect introduction to a summer camp experience, for children in Kidergarten. Each week, campers will explore a new theme through outdoor play, crafts and games. Kinder Campers do not participate in swimming or go on field trips.
Kensington Kinder Camp is located at 84 Kensington St. on the corner of Kensington St. and Stevenson St. at our Kensington Y Child Care location. Please note that lunch and snacks will not be provided and must be packed for your child each day. A quiet time will be provided after lunch for those campers who wish to take a nap.

Week 1 (July 1-5) : Try a Sport
Enjoy trying a new sport that you have never tried before. Learn the basics through interactive programming that engages young children to try new things.
Week 2 (July 8-12): Grossology
Prepare to overload your senses through gooey projects, slimy experiments and activites that make you say, “ewwww, Gross!”
Week 3 ( July 15-19): Superheroes
A week of non stop action as we learn about our favourite superheroes through, drama art and music.
Week 4 (July 22-26): Kindercamps Got Talent
What is your talent? Is it singing, dancing, jumping, running? Get ready to show off your stuff this week as you prepare for the finale talent show at the end of the week.
Week 5 (July 29-Aug.2): Pirates
“Ahoy Mates!” On board the Kindercamp Pirate Ship for an unforgettable week of role play, art projects, music and dance related to ships, treasures and maps.
Week 6 (Aug. 5-9): Kindercamps Got Talent
What is your talent? Is it singing, dancing, jumping, running? Get ready to show off your stuff this week as you prepare for the finale talent show at the end of the week.
Week 7 (Aug. 12-16): Little Explorers
Come and explore through engaging hands on activities. Bugs, experiments, scavenger hunts and more will keep these little explorers on their toes all week.
Week 8 (Aug.19-23): Disney Days
Help us bring Disney to KinderCamp through daily activites designed to explore the world of Disney characters that we all know and love.
Week 9 (Aug.26-30): Rhythm & Music
Through singing, drumming and making your own musical instruments campers will enjoy the world of rhythm and music. Musicians from the community will share their talents to help make this week a memorable one.
