Swimming
YMCA-YWCA of Guelph is committed to quality and convenient swim programs for all ages and all members. All members have access to the pool programs included in their membership.
Admission Statement
A parent or guardian (16 years of age or older) must be in the water, within arm’s reach for all children under 6 and non-Swimmers under 10 (no more than 2 children under 6 or 4 children under 10 with one parent/guardian). A non-Swimmer is a child who has not passed Swimmer or our pool swim test. A swim test may be administered at any time.
Those with serious medical conditions should be accompanied by an individual knowledgeable abour their condition and responsible for their direct supervision. Please inform Aquatic Staff about any concerns.
Bathers must shower with warm water and soap before entering the pool area.
